Hello,  I am Jill, qualified dog trainer, behaviour consultant  and founder of Busy Bee Dog Training.

I specialise in, and I'm passionate about, teaching people how to effectively use positive reinforcement training methods to raise your puppies and solve your dog's training needs.

Many years ago when I was looking for a trainer to help me with my new and challenging puppy, I realised there was no one offering the sort of help and advice I needed.  I was committed to using the kindest methods possible but couldn't find someone who knew how to help anxious Bertie.

This lead me on a huge journey of learning lead to me gaining qualifications and assessed, professional memberships.
  • I hold a diploma in canine behaviour with The ISCP (International School for Canine Psychology and Behaviour)
  • I passed a written & oral exam and practical assessment to become a member of the UK's leading dog training association, The APDT, UK
  • I'm also a member of The Karen Pryor Academy.  This is a world leading organisation for ethical training methods.  I had to write many papers then pass a 5 day practical assessment with my dog Velma.  Velma and I were the only ones from our course who passed... I am very proud of my wee dog!

My passion and skills lie in being able to teach human's how to train their own dog's using positive reinforcement.  I love being able to simplify the complexities of behaviour change and pass on my love of dog training.    Whether I am working with puppies, or dogs with complex behaviour issues, I provide solutions that work with you and your family's lifestyle.
