Sheep and Horse DESENSITIsATION Workshop
I grew up on and around farms. Our family dog, and later my own German Shorthaired Pointer were around sheep, horses and cattle all the time without issue. Many of the farmers I knew had pet dogs who didn't bat an eyelid at sheep.
Looking back I now can see that one of the most important reasons this happened was those pet dogs were simply used to livestock. The livestock were uninteresting. At The Sheep and Horse Desensitisation Workshops, I use my knowledge and experience of behaviour and training to help you and your dogs have an experience that allows your dog to start to find horses and sheep uninteresting, too. |
